Why is there an America's Cup Drive in Jacksonville, FL?
I assume the question is rhetorical.
Surely you know that the America, winner of the One Guinea Cup off the Isle of Wight in 1851, and therefore the boat that started all this America's Cup nonsense, was sold at Jacksonville, Florida, to the Confederate States Navy in 1861.
