Thanks Roy, for everything.

You’re were great mentor, a tremendous asset for all of us who sail, and a wonderful guy! You’ll be missed.

I told someone today about Roy's passing, and noted how I think of his sailing endeavors before any Disney Co history.

From the terrific pros on Pyewacket to the amazing kids on Morning Light, Roy brought sailing to the forefront in Southern California. His generosity and spirit will be sorely missed.

Fair winds and following seas, Roy.

We the crew of the original SCZ 50 DECEPTION out of CAL YC in Marina Del Rey will miss Roy as a great sailor, falconeer and gentleman.
May his soul rest in piece and we wish him fair winds in the great seas above.

Roy, you will be missed. Never met you, but I'm a huge TransPac fan (done only 2 on smaller boats) and Pywacket was awesome, followed by more amazing monohulls. I live in San Pedro and have watched the start of the last 3 TransPacs. Always fun to see a giant mast with a sloop rig at the start.

Hope you have an enormous chute and a smart following wind in heaven.

You were fabulous.

Roy Disney was the best! Let's all celebrate his friendship and the great sailing we shared with him. He was one of a kind.
