Kind of what you'd expect from the sort of person who'd buy a Sea Ray. They're generally not the most...experienced yachtsmen.
Nothing to do with the brand of powerboat and all to do with the brand of idiot/asshole. Last years Canadian Laser Nationals had powerboat racing cutting through the fleet back and forth. This is nothing.
.
Well the owner/ driver of "this" powerboat is a total and utter idiot/ asshole but seriously, they're not all the same and I've seen plenty of irresponsible sailboat owners carve up their fellow rag flyers with aplomb. I sail by the way :)
This has happened to me more times than I care to remember. It is particularly bad when there is very little wind and a large power boat comes between the fleet. I almost ended up with a hole in my Solings hull from an episode like this.
